Sequel Church exists to help people start the best chapter of their life.
We believe God is transforming us from glory to glory (2 Corinthians 3:18), into the image of his Son, and that the Church is called to partner with people in discovering that image. That wherever God is leading you is meant to be a better season than the last, shaping a testimony that glorifies him and ultimately culminates in his eternal glory, regardless of temporal circumstances.
The formative mission behind our values, our decisions, and our ministry can be summarized as our desire to Bless the Lord, Build the Church, Bring the Kingdom.
Meet our pastors
Ben and Destiny met in elementary school, but fireworks wouldn’t happen until almost 15 years later. Since getting married, they’ve been routinely adding little girls to their team and just recently shifted the tables with the birth of their baby boy. As chronic entrepreneurs, they’ve started many ministries and businesses all culminating in planting Sequel Church, their life-long dream and forever home. Their heart is to see people win and see the story of faith seamless in the generations of families.
Ben is a dynamic communicator passionate about preaching God’s Word. With a Masters in Ministerial Leadership from Southeastern University, he brings over 20 years of ministry experience—and plenty of stories from raising five kids. You can find him wearing a Yankees hat, cooking his family dinner, or making up games with his girls.
A powerhouse of creativity and anointing, Destiny weaves words, worship, and wisdom into everything she touches—whether leading, writing, or raising five world-changers. She is a proud pastor’s kid and (less notably) a Swiftie. You can find her homeschooling the kids, celebrating a holiday (real or fake), planning her next trip, or hitting her next goal at Burn Boot Camp.
